Aurori: Born From Necessity, Built on Transparency
A Letter from Our Founder, Nancy:
In 2022, I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s after bringing my doctor results from an at-home thyroid test. My TPO antibodies were over 400 — when the baseline marker was just 32. No wonder I felt so unwell. That diagnosis was my turning point.
As I started researching not just Hashimoto’s, but autoimmune diseases as a whole, I was shocked by what I found: America’s products, packaging, and lifestyles are making us sick. Diagnoses are rising at alarming rates — up to 12% annually for many autoimmune conditions — and the presence of autoantibodies has nearly doubled since the late 1980s.
Like so many others, I was left feeling lost, overwhelmed, and desperate for safe answers. When I searched for autoimmune-friendly products, wellness tools, and resources, I discovered how scarce, confusing, and often unobtainable they were.
That’s when I realized I could take my journey into my own hands. Aurori was born out of that need: a space dedicated to making autoimmune-safe living more accessible, approachable, and sustainable. What started as a personal mission has grown into a community — a place where we explore the science, uncover hidden toxins, share practical tools, and support one another on our wellness journeys.
Aurori is more than a brand — it’s a movement toward transparency, education, and empowerment. Through The Grove wellness journal, The Grotto newsletter, and our social channels, we share research, actionable tips, and honest conversations about everything from PFAS and endocrine disruptors to lifestyle shifts that truly support balance and recovery.
Because life doesn’t stop for autoimmunity. And neither should your ability to live fully, joyfully, and safely. Here, you’ll find guidance, community, and tools to navigate autoimmune-safe living — without fear, overwhelm, or compromise.
♥️ With love,
Nancy Wilson
