In 2022, I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s after bringing my doctor results from an at-home thyroid test. My TPO antibodies were over 400 — when the baseline marker was just 32. No wonder I felt so unwell. That diagnosis was my turning point.

As I started researching not just Hashimoto’s, but autoimmune diseases as a whole, I was shocked by what I found: America’s products, packaging, and lifestyles are making us sick. Diagnoses are rising at alarming rates — up to 12% annually for many autoimmune conditions — and the presence of autoantibodies has nearly doubled since the late 1980s.

Like so many others, I was left feeling lost, overwhelmed, and desperate for safe answers. When I searched for autoimmune-friendly products, I discovered how scarce, expensive, and inaccessible they were. Perfumes, dry shampoos, and everyday essentials either didn’t exist in safe forms — or came at luxury prices most couldn’t afford.

So I began researching and making my own.

Aurori was born out of that journey: a brand dedicated to creating 100% organic, autoimmune-safe, and non-toxic products without compromise. What started as a personal need has grown into a mission — to give others the leg up I wish I had in 2022.

Aurori is more than just a fragrance house. It’s a movement toward transparency in an industry that has been secretive for too long. It’s a community space through The Grove, our wellness journal, and our social channels — where we share research, answer the hard questions, and explore new discoveries on PFAS, endocrine disruptors, and hidden toxins in beauty and home care.

Today, Aurori begins with perfumes. Tomorrow, it will expand into candles, hair care, and beyond. Every product is handmade in Tennessee with care, intention, and a promise: to make autoimmune-safe living more accessible, transparent, and empowering.
